One of the goals of the CEO program is to help students see the opportunities right here in their communities and inspire them to want to stay here. Our students are the future of our economic culture so it is imperative that we retain business savvy people for future growth and economic development.

Tim Followell, a CEO Board Member understands this very well. As a native of Clinton, Tim has been with the city since 1977. He has been married to his wife Debbie for 38 years and they have two grown children, both of which graduated from Clinton Community Unit School District #15.

Tim said he was inspired to get involved with the CICEO program because he saw this program as a great way to try and retain graduates back to the community as well as starting an entrepreneur process. We were discussing the former Building Trades concept within the school system and this seem to fit that same point.

He is most excited about giving the students a chance to experience the real life business environment and real life living and working environment plus expanding core values in life.

Thank you Tim Followell for your service and dedication to the CICEO program!
