Applications for the CICEO Program are still open! We recently hosted 2 Experience CEO Days. One day we toured The Vault in Clinton and the following week we hosted a Class Room Day to give interested students a behind the scenes look at the CEO program.
Michelle Witzke, Founder of the Vault is so inspiring and is a great encourager to our new entrepreneurs. The students learned how The Vault began and the work that goes into keeping the doors open. Networking, vision, communication, volunteers, hard work and patience were all important lessons Michelle shared as a part of her journey.
Our classroom day was held at Heartland Bank in Farmer City and the students learned about how to price their products and services through the process of determining the cost of a chocolate chip cookie. Pricing must be determined by facts not feelings and the students had the opportunity to price compare, determine their brand and then present what they would charge for their cookies. It was fun and effective exercise!
