Today our class had the privilege of learning from Abby Tolley at MIE – CEO Alumni and Communications Specialist at the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship. Abby reflected on her own CEO journey and how it has shaped both her personal growth and her career.

She shared 3 key lessons for success:
1️⃣ Lean into your TEAM – ask for help, notice others’ skills, and tap into their strengths.
2️⃣ Collaborate, don’t compete – invite input and grow stronger together.
3️⃣ Build a business that fits your life – troubleshoot, test your process, and find what’s scalable.

Abby also encouraged students to embrace both entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, practice a “notice & do” mentality, and remember:

It’s okay to be uncomfortable.

Do what is meaningful to you.

Things will change—and that’s okay. You have the ability to choose what’s most important.
