This week our CEO students had the opportunity to learn from Kevin Breheny, retired President of JL Hubbard Insurance & Bonds. Kevin spoke about the importance of making a strong first impression and shared research showing that 90% of people form their opinion within the first 7–30 seconds of meeting you.

He emphasized 3 key factors in creating a positive impression:
👔 Appearance – be appropriately dressed
🤝 Body language – stay engaged and welcoming
⏰ Timeliness – being on time matters

Kevin also shared his six keys to success:
1️⃣ Set an audacious goal
2️⃣ Serve others
3️⃣ Choose your friends carefully
4️⃣ Choose your mentors even more carefully
5️⃣ Differentiate yourself
6️⃣ Build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

We are grateful for his wisdom and encouragement, and for reminding our students that success starts with how you show up.

We also want to thank CICEO Board Member Kim Ekena, Mr. Huss and Stephen Clevenger for attending as well. We truly appreciate all their interest and support in the CEO Program.
