Our Central Illinois CEO students had the opportunity to visit DynaGraphics Inc. and meet with Scott Bowers Vice President, to learn what drives their success.
Scott shared that the key to Dynagraphics’ growth has been being customer-driven and always willing to go the extra mile. When a client asks, “Can you do this?” — their answer is yes, and they find a way to make it happen.
He emphasized that every order matters, because each one contributes to the future of the company.
As entrepreneurs, Scott reminded us that our job is to solve problems — and do so efficiently, with as little waste as possible.
Some of his biggest lessons:
Hire people who will represent your brand well.
Communicate clearly — both with your team and your customers.
Being customer-driven is what truly sets you apart.
“If you work harder, smarter, and better for your customer — they’ll notice!”
Take measured risks, stay efficient, and work in the business, not on it.
