Recently the CICEO students visited Plume in Mt. Zion and heard the inspiring entrepreneurial journey of owner Angi Lay!

Angi saw an opportunity: people wanted cleaner options for soaps & lotions. Her desire to create products without unnecessary chemicals led her to build Plume from the ground up—now celebrating 6 years in business! 🎉

Her advice to our students:

💡 Start with ONE thing & do it well.
📊 Know your costs, margins & numbers.
⚙️ Build systems from the beginning.
🎯 Set goals, stay focused & don’t worry about what others are doing.
💪 Hard work + dedication matter.
