The CICEO students are preparing for our Shark Tank event, which is next Wednesday at the Vespasian Warner Public Library from 7:30-9:00 am. During this event each student will have a 10 minute time slot to pitch their business and answer questions to a panel of local business owners who will serve as our sharks. In preparation of this event we had a mock shark tank event with our Mentors. Everyone was divided up into different roles; entrepreneurs, investors/sharks and observers. It was such a fun educational event and the students walked away with so many great tips as they prepare for next week.
Mentor Days always remind us that we can all learn from & inspire one another, confidence is so important, giving a pitch is hard for all ages but the ability to do it is so important, and learning can be fun.
